looking out to distant hills

Ingleborough trig point view sun rays misty valleys

The view from the Trig point on Ingleborough summit

Looking out to distant hills

which float on mist made seas of light

while morning frost evaporates

and ice wind races

across rock strewn desolate

sun rays spread though cloud breaks grey

while flocks of geese head out to feed

snow hides in north wind sheltered chills

and ice forms white

over flat top sandstone hill

  1. That looks cold! Beautifully soft light and I really like the way the figure links to the trig point by the arm, that really makes quite a difference and provides coherence to the foreground. Nice work.

  2. Beautiful landscape!

Let me know what you're thinking.........
